Get involved

You’ll be pleased to hear there are plenty of different ways for you to get involved with the Play Association, whether this be through volunteering, fundraising or working for us. Take a look at all of the current opportunities below!

Support our projects

Can you volunteer your skills, expertise and determination to our projects? We’re always interested to hear from people who want to volunteer their time to improving our projects, and there are plenty of areas we would be grateful to have help with! What kind of support are we looking for? We’re looking for support in a number of areas, including: volunteer workshops (arts, crafts, dance etc), external trips for project users, resources (your unneeded materials could be valuable to our projects), and in particular volunteers willing to assist with the maintenance of our sites.

If you think you could use your skills to benefit our organisation, and would like to contribute to the efforts being made to provide high-quality play opportunities for children and young people, be sure to get in touch! Please contact Steve@playassociationhf.org.uk for more information, or to confirm your interest.

Become a Play Association Trustee

If you’re a talented individual, with a passion for supporting children of all abilities, you might be able to use your talents to help us. We’re always looking to expand our Board of Trustees, and if you think you have the skills to help our organisation grow, then we would love to hear from you!

Follow the link for information about the current members of our Board of Trustees – Play Association: The Trustees.

If you are interested, or would like some more information about what being a Trustee for our organisation would entail, please contact our CEO, Steve – Steve@playassociationhf.org.uk or our Chair of Trustees, Lesley – Info@playassociationhf.org.uk

Volunteering

Volunteering your time in play-work or within an office is an excellent way of learning new skills and developing your professional experience. We are especially keen to hear from young people who are hoping to break into the play industry as play-workers, or are simply looking to gain more experience in the non-profit sector. We have a variety of projects, and with each project, a range of opportunities for you to get involved. Once you’ve done this, get in touch with us via info@playassociation.org.uk

Fundraising

We at the Play Association believe our efforts are best spent on delivering services to the children who depend on the support of our projects. However, we also understand the importance of community fundraising, and have plenty of opportunities for supporters of our work to get involved! Why not participate in one of our Big 12 challenges?
