Welcome to the Play Association’s official blog! On this site you will find posts from our qualified play teams, project users, ex play leaders, our head office team and even our trustees.
The Play Association is a non-profit organisation working to ensure London’s children have opportunities to play freely, as all children should be able to. We predominantly work in the West London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, however due to our delivery having been so successful in recent times, we are now responding to demand and running projects in other boroughs across London.
If you’re excited by the the idea of learning more about a charity advocating for play, or simply need some uplifting stories, you’ve come to the right place. We may be a small team, but our ambitions are large.
Our mission statement:
- We at the Play Association believe that every child has the right to play freely, and that play is an essential part of the welfare, and development of children. We work to promote and deliver children’s play opportunities in West London, in response to local need.
- We are now an accredited training provider! To find out more information about this, head over to our blog post about this important development for our organisation, or simply browse the information in the link below.
