If you’re interested in learning more about who we are, what we do, and why we do it, you’ve come to the right place.

We are a team of play sector professionals working to make play possible for young people living in London, and its surrounding areas, because we believe:

We predominantly work in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, but due to recent successes, we are now responding to demand in Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, and parts of Surrey. Our relatively small team boasts years upon years of experience in the play sector, giving the younger members of the organisation plenty to learn from.

We like to think of ourselves as the ‘can do’ organisation, as while we are a relatively small team, collectively our passion for play is unrivalled. Since founding in 2003, and becoming a registered charity in 2005, our impact on London’s play opportunities has been incredible. From assisting existing and emerging play providers, to helping play providers with staffing, and to the development of our quality play provisions throughout West London, it’s no surprise to see why our work is so valued.

Our mission statement: “We, at the Play Association believe that every child has the right to play freely, and that play is an essential part of the welfare and development of children.”
